Description
This series of suspension damping base is a rectangular soft ring woven and pressed by stainless steel wire. VI786 has a Ø 9 inner drill screw, which can be customized according to customer requirements.
Application
This suspension system is particularly suitable for exhaust pipe supports of marine generator sets or permanent supports on buildings. Very good resistance to chemicals, oils and greases
Corrosion characteristics, and can work in the temperature range of -70°C to 300°C.
The natural frequency is 15-20Hz, which allows the pipe to be independently supported to reduce noise and allow the pipe to expand freely.

Installation:
The countersunk screw hole can be used to fix the soft ring inside the collar.
The number of flexible rings used should be a multiple of 4, but this depends on the diameter of the pipe, see the table below.
However, for small diameter pipes, two sheets of liner may be used symmetrically, distributed at both ends of a diagonal line.

Installation:
We have a wide variety of bases to meet many needs. These bases should be used as shown in the figure below (the cushions are placed side by side in the two halves of the collar, and then the collar is connected to the main structure).
Note: The cushion can be installed in two directions, as shown by the height H in the table.
Be sure to refer to the drawing during installation to make sure that the height H is correct.
Select:
The cushion thickness is 16mm or 26mm. We recommend the use of VI700-B06 (16mm thick) liners for pipe diameters <270 and VI700-A06 (25mm thick) for pipe diameters> 270.
Examples:
● For pipes with an outer diameter of 140: use 9 VI700-B06 cushion;
● For pipes with an outer diameter of 1000: use a 61 VI700-A06 cushion.
