    On October 31, 2023, Hutchinson Suzhou and Suzhou Industrial Park held a memorandum of understanding signing activity for Hutchinson Asian Materials Technology Center in Fab House, 822. The guests attending the signing event included the director of the Investment Promotion Committee of Suzhou Industrial Park, the deputy director of the Investment Promotion Bureau, the secretary of the Party Working Committee and the deputy director of the management committee of Suzhou Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourism Resort, the vice president of global R & D and innovation of Hutchinson Group, the senior vice president of Asia, the vice president of Asian business development, the general manager of Suzhou factory, and the operation director and technical director of each business unit.

     

    The material technology center will focus on basic material development, characterization, simulation and other technical research and innovation, and fully support the technology development and business expansion of various business units in the Asia-Pacific region. It is also the Asia-Pacific after the establishment of the Hutkinson Singapore R & D Innovation Center in 2019. The second R & D center in the region. Through this project, the fourth global R & D innovation center, the Hutkinson Group continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to research and technology.

     

    With the implementation of the Materials Technology Center project at Fab House in 822, focusing on materials R & D and innovation, Hutkinson will be able to better develop our R & D innovation capabilities in Asia, enhance material differentiation and product competitiveness. Leverage the local ecosystem, combined with Hutchinson's global expertise and experience, we will be able to better serve local customers in Asia, especially the Chinese OEMs leading the transformation of electric vehicles.
